The outreach ministry team at Solid Rock Baptist Church believe in preparing the next generation for the future. We believe that the need to perform simple tasks like home economics is a vital task that everyone should know.
So to remedy this, the missions and outreach ministries would like to start some study courses in our gymnasium. Some of the courses that would be offered are:
1. How to create and follow a budget.
2. How to maximize allotted food budget.
3. Cooking and safe meal preparation.
4. Canning and preserving food.
5. How to balance a check book.
6. How to prepare for taxes whether or not you use an accountant.
*Some of these courses have prerequisites so please ask for details.
There will be sign up sheets in the lobby. So if you are interested, please fill one out so we will be able to start a schedule.
